77 Argosy 28 insulation question

I'm considering an Argosy 28 and I just had a quick question. I promise I did search a bit but I thought it might just be easy to ask quickly. Are the tanks inside the insulated envelope of the motorhome or outside?

I can't speak for sure on your Argosy but on my 82 Airstream 280 with a rear bath the tanks are under the floor just ahead of the rear bumper... not insulated. I suspect yours is the same unless you have a center bath.

Cheers, Dan

If yours is like my 20 and 24 footer, the fresh water tank was inside under a seat and the gray & black tanks are below the floor, in the bathroom area. There was a shroud under them but no insulation. Also the dump valves will be uninsulated.

Thanks for the response. I'm trying to workout how to make this old gal more liveable in the winter months. I appreciate the responses!
