Mechanic has found dry rot(not surprised...3 years sitting).

Any recomendations on what tires to purchase?

The ones on my 20' are new, I'll look to see what there when I get home.

I called Airstream today and the said that that unit had 8.75 - 16.5. That sounds like a 16.5" rim that is an odd sized tire and(horror) a "special order" $$$$$$$$!

What have you guys been using on these units. Mine has the chrome rims BTW. I called a tire guy and he said that 215 85 16.5 would be the way to go with all 6 tires. Please help!

I would NOT recommend Longmarch tires (supposed to be the same thing as Hankook). We went through some rotten times trying to figure out why our coach was shaking so badly. Turns out, of six brand new tires, not ONE of them was in round. We returned them and went with Toyos and they are doing fine.

Our Winnebago had the same 16.5" "special order" tires. We ended up getting a tire that is not made any more for it (sadly, because it was a good tire). I hope you don't have trouble getting tires for yours!
