'76 Argosy 24' Wiring

Does anyone have a wiring diagram for a 1976 Argosy 24 motorhome? I am trying to get mine to start and I cant seem to get it to crank or any power at the dash. If I connect to the solenoid with the battery cable and I get no power on the dash. If I connect to the diode that separates the start battery with the cabin battery then I can get dash power. If I had a schematic of how this thing is wired then I think it would be a lot easier for me.

Thanks
Matt

afaik, this is close as you'll come, unless someone else has it in an original manual - http://www.airforums.com/forums/f310...tml#post827192

thank Brad K for his post....

Matt I can't speak directly about your Argosy but I have chased more than a couple of demons in my '82 280 Airstream. The frustrating thing is Airstream puts out a fairly decent wiring diagram for the coach and GM puts out good diagrams for the chassis but nobody has anything to say about where the two systems connect. On my 280 there is a wire bundle under the drivers seat to the left of the engine. The fusible link between the battery lead on the starter and the amp meter on the dash lives in this bundle. The ignition and all power to the dash goes through this link.

I would start at the battery terminal on the starter and try to follow that to the amp meter If you can get 12 volts to the amp meter the rest should come fairly easy.

Good luck, Dan

Thanks everyone for your replies. JM2's link to the color coded schematic has helped a lot, although I have not found the issue yet. There is some corrosion in there that I think has caused the main power wire to the fuse block to become bad. I am going to try to go through it more this week.
