Well last week was a total bust. Got nothing done .I was going to go into detail why but seemed to much like whining.
I did get my radiator back from the shop it had been recored sometime in the past so they pressure tested it and installed a fitting for my electric fan switch.
Hope things go better this week.

Managed to get a couple of things done today.Have had shoulder and neck problems for a month.
Was able to put new water pump, new fuel pump, new fuel filter , and power steering pump back on engine.
Have also been working a little on the fiberglass shower pan, I am almost happy with the pattern that I will use to cut the cloth with. One more try and it should be ready for use.

Finally able to get back to work on the Argosy.
Got the exhaust manifolds on ,starter in, radiator in.
I have tried using parts off the sob mh donor. that is not working out to well they look the same but small differences like the hookups on the alternator, the fittings on the power steering pump and now I have realized I can't use the oil cooler and electric fan so will have to change out the oil filter adapter and go back to the original small oil cooler hopefully I can get the electric fan to work .Also have to take the passenger side exhaust manifold back off so I can get the oil dipstick in. But things are going well.I am hopeful that it will be running soon!

It is amazing how long the little things take.
The dipstick is in and have been cleaning scraping and painting the small stuff. Power steering remote fill, engine oil filler, tranny dust cover.
Still need to get anew oil cooler and the correct fittings to hook up the hoses, electric fan from sob mh will work with only an adapter to bolt it on.Tranny lines need hooked up.and then the fluids and I think maybe a start up try. After a good once over to see if I missed anything that is.Hopefully this weekend.

What you have to do is plan a trip and pay for it. Then you will have that deadline to work towards. It's interesting as that deadline approaches just how many things you will decide are not important to do for the trip! Learned that one developing software for 30 years...but of course most of those deadlines were always meaningless...not missing that life at all!

Tires today! Have managed to get one set of rear duals replaced . Took the 2 front tires off of sob mh they are less than 4 years old with maybe 3000 miles on them. Put them on the drivers side rear.Took the ones off the Argosy and put them back on front of sob. Have 2 more tires on sob to change over to the Argosy.Thought I was going to get them all done today don't know if I can mange though.Lot of work taking abreak then will see if I can do more today.

Haven't done tires yet. Decided to do something fun So I put the hood back on starting to look like a real motorhome again. Waiting on a new to me grill .Didn't have one when I got it.Also when I was putting the jack under the mh I noticed my lpg line that goes to my water heater is laying on my exhaust pipe . That will need to be fixed.Glad I noticed it before the pipe got hot.
Waiting on m y heater core to come back from the shop.
Still have some pesky tranny line leaks where they go into the radiator . Thinking about putting some teflon tape on them.
