1975 Argosy 350 cu.in. lower radiator hose source needed

I can not believe Advance Auto Parts, O'Reilly's or our local Chevrolet dealer does not have a hose that fits. I tried universal too short. None come close to fitting. Anyone had this problem or have a source? Thanks

Thumbs up

I did see that on Napa's website today. It looks very simular to Advances hose we tried. They also list a couple of flex hoses as an alternative.

There are no part numbers on the existing hose so I am out there. Will pickup NAPA's tonight. Thank you

Thanks. Realpank.

Napa was the same wrong hose I had from Advance. I did find what looks to the correct hose on Advance's web site and ordered. Local Advance store does not carry or have access. I can return to them. Go figure.

Who knows where it's coming from as long as it fits.

If it fits, please post the part number here in this thread, and/or forward it to me. I am trying to compile a list of common part numbers for reference by others, so they don't have to go through this.

Thumbs up Rad hose

I did not get the invoice, but I will email the mechanic in Virginia to send me the information. I'm in S. Ontario. Glad I took care of that before my 1,000 mile trip home.

Cheers,
Chris

Still have a 1976 350 Chevy that has been through many hoses,
The first time it was changed, new one did not look at all like the old one.
Maybe a design upgrade or the like.
It worked fine, just ran around things differently.

Try to see if will fit twisted another way or path.

You wouldn't think a lower radiator hose would be difficult to fit but because of a large stainless stabilizer bar that exists the hose has to take an immediate turn up over the bar and get to the water pump. Will post part number when it is installed hopefully in a week. Thanks to all.
