Our new used 2000 34' Limited

Thought I'd be the first to post to this thread as my family and I just purchased our first Airstream/RV for that matter.

Hope to spend many days on the road with our new venture and looking forward to hearing from others with this same year model!

Some photos of the new rig here and more to follow down the road. (Still experimenting with Flickr)

Morning Hank,

Thanks. I may be in your neighborhood next month! My uncle leaves 30 miles west of Nashville and has a place on the lake that way. He assisted me in picking up our trailer last week and I promised him I'd be by with it.

We're going hunting again this October in North Dakota (my second time) and I'm new to that too. He used to take me fishing when I was a kid and now he's showing me ropes on RVs and hunting dogs today.

I'll honk when I come through!

Looks like you're looking at possibly a used Airstream too. My wife had an '06 30' Classic S/O all picked out when she found the 34' that we bought. The two dealers she was talking to were very competitive in wanting to make the deal.

I know its a lot of money one way or another but I didn't want to wait until I was on oxygen to be doing this!

Thanx…I’ll listen for the honk…I live in West Nashville, Bell Mead area. Strange how it works…I’ll be driving out to Pembroke North Carolina next week. Daughter #1 is graduating school! That means just one more off the daddy account!!!!

Your uncle must be out on lake Kentucky, I’ve fished that a few weeks back, Crappie were still deep, bummer! I looked for a lake cabin out that way. Most are just too much money.

In any case the main reason I’m looking for a RV is that I intend to use it for work. I’m a contract engineer and travel to the job sites, around the country. Rather then staying at hotels, I think the wife and I would find a quite campground refreshing. Also. I too don’t want to wait until I can’t drive to get out and see the country. Diesel cost be dammed!!!

Great looking rig. I almost bought one of those big guys. Truly home away from home.

Looks like a mighty fine rig. Like both the 34 and the TV. For 90 cents more, you can go 1st class which you did. Enjoy.
