Thumbs up Long search but found one

After being introduced to TT's with a older Holiday Rambler, trading to a 31' '79 Excella and using it through our kids teen years for a bunch of great family trips, it was either upgrade the '79 or step up. We wanted something that wouldn't take a lot of work other than the usual maintenance, time was limited with several houses and aging parents to look after. After about 8 months of looking, I found this (hopefully) pristine '00 five hundred miles away via the Internet. After calling and talking to the fellow for a bit about it I was excited to think I had found what I wanted. I'm not sure he believed me when I said I would stop by the next morning to see it, as I live in Ohio and he lived in Kansas City, but I had missed a few opportunities and didn't want to miss this one. Well, I made it there by breakfast, and after a tour and inspection, it was everything I was looking for (and then some). Hooked it up and was back in Ohio for a late supper.
Since then we have logged over 25,000 miles with it and couldn't be more pleased, it tows super smooth and is comfortable to return to at the end of a day hiking and sightseeing.

Sounds like some great travels. You need to post some pics of that great trailer of yours.

Ebair, I see you are from Miamisburg - I live in Springfield (winter in Florida). I was looking for a 34' with twin beds and settled for a 31' with twin beds and now I am looking for a 34' with twin beds. I know that sounds strange. Your unit looks great. Thanks. Bill

Bill, There are several twin bed 34s in the classifieds on this date. We also like the extra room in the triples and went from a 31 to a 34. The extra storage helps me keep the trailer neater (same amount of junk, just more places to put it) Good luck in your search.

Starflyte, I was lucky to find one this clean and well cared for, and thank you for your well wishes. We plan on lots of adventures with our new to us AS as basecamp.
