Cool 73 Tradewind

Welcome! We purchased a 73 Tradewind. We look forward to reading about your project. We are going the 'lipstick on pig' method for now and hope of have ole Haily water tight enough that no new rot occurs. I love reading about peoples projects beginning to end. Hope you keep everything here. It is amazing how much help you can get here.

Thanks Airstream Family! My dad is wondering if you guys have changed the electric in your airstreams, or what exactly you did?

Did you replace all of the rivets? I was reading that someone was using olympic rivets. Does anyone know what that is?

Last question ....well for tonight When taking the skins out, Did you paint them? What did you do about the front and back pieces. My front piece is old and cracking and we are brainstorming about what we could replace it with.

Oh dang...one more...about the windows. Did you just reinforce them and keep them and does anyone have a good place to get new ones? I am missing the one by the front door.

Ok, Ok I"m done!

Thanks again!!!!!
