Furnace

Was able to start work on the A/S again this weekend. I pulled out the old suburban furnace to in spect it after doing a little bit of research and found that this furnace is part of the recall with the rubber crossover tube to tube appears to be fine no dry rot in it whatsoever problem I'm having with it is getting the pilot to light it will not light even after cleaning it I can light the main burners with a torch and seems to run fine but no pilot light so I'm just going to scrap it and get a new one figured it's not worth it to fix a 40+ year old furnace. The model is a nt 22

Also removed the kitchen galley I figured since the furnace had to come out that is was time to also redo the counter top and stove. Click image for larger version
