Classroom??

A buddy of mine told me about a couple of Airstreams he saw one time that were setup a classrooms back in late 1960's. Not saying this is one of them, but you can clearly see were the trailer was changed sometime in the 1970's based on the addition of the 1970's era window and overhead cabinets.

I'm sure smarter folks than I will have the answer,

Enjoy,

Mail Trailer???

WBCCI had some mail trailers they had that looked similar that they used at International Rallies. The last time I saw one was in Boise back in 98-99.
3 doors is a nightmare for leaks... every one of them is likely to have some kind of leak. They limit where you can put the stuff you need for a camping trailer. It would make sense to use for some sort of portable eatery where you could use the middle door to access behind the counter and the 2 other doors for in and out to serve some kind of food, beverage or both. You would need a separate Airstream for preparation nearby... Other than that I'm not sure what it would be useful for. Maybe a triple cabana for a pool house.

3 door answer

Just joined and saw the thread on our trailer.

The three door (1967 Sovereign) was built for factory executives to use for the 1968 Jamboree, (New York I believe). Airstream does not have much more info on it than that.

So, now all of you can educate me! I am remodeling it to a mobile sales unit for our business, Calamity Jane's Trading Co. of the Napa Valley. How the heck do I do that?

I will try to keep you informed so you all can inform me![ATTACH][ATTACH][ATTACH]Click image for larger version

Why would you do that to such a rare trailer?

Most of the interior was not original and not functional. The 3 door floor plan does not make it functional for a residential or campibg floorplan. It had also seen years of neglect acting as more of a squirrel nest than anything else.
