They did not in 2001 or in 2004.

I think you have your answer now.

Not to leave you hanging. The easiest way to replace a tire if you are a tandem axle unit is to run one tire on the same side (assuming you are changing a flat) up on blocks. That raises the bad tire off the ground.

I carry a cross tire wrench, looks like a "+" that has different size lug sizes on three of the four sides. That way I can change tires on the trailer or the tow vehicle with the same wrench.

Hope this helps. Now if you have a single axle trailer its a different story.

Jack

He does, and it is.
Almost any auto parts store will be happy to sell you a hydraulic bottle jack. If you get one, a ten ton would be ideal, not because your trailer weighs that much, but because the jack has a much wider base, so it is less prone to tipping over under load. There should be a spot behind the axle marked "JACK HERE", that is where the top of the jack will need to be. A 2"x6" about a foot long would be a good idea, too, to set the base of the jack on if you are in dirt, and have to raise it there.

Thanks Terry, I didn't look closely at the length of his CCD. Good information for a new owner.
