I want to make a solid and level parking pad for my '03 16' Bambi. Can somebody save me a trip to the storage yard and tell me the width the pad needs to be so the tires fit on the pad? A bonus answer would also be what is the distance from the hitch post to the tires? Thanks, Jamie
I would want it 20 ft long and 10 ft wide for that size trailer due to the fact that the grass under it won't grow to it needs to ectend to the back bumper.
And, it needs to be wide enough to have a little room for an apron in my opinion.
If there is even the least chance of an upgrade in your future.... Then think big!!!
An extra yard, or 4, ain't that big of a deal NOW, but later......... then, well....!?

How about adding sewer, water and 30 amp service; maybe even cable and a phone connection. Never know when a guest arrives or you're in the dog house. Add a fire ring too and a nearby trash can. Make it a dumpster and let it overflow on holiday weekends so you really get the feel.

Those are all excellent suggestions, especially the one about sewer, water and power. If I had the room it would be done. Our house is on a small 50' X 100' lot with no driveway, just dirt alley access to our garage. I can barely park the trailer out of the way in the alley while setting up for an adventure so I need just the minimum width for the tires. As it was I had a 2' X 2' pad of sand for the right wheel to sit on that made it level with the left tire. Buying a new house is not an option. Why not run out to your local building supply store, and get three 16" or 24" square concrete pavers? One for each wheel, and one for the tongue jack. It should cost less than $20 for them, and you won't have to play "Mortar Man" with a wheelbarrow and shovel.
