Steve,

The new rig looks great. Hope you get to use it soon.

I'll chime in on your insurance question, I'm an independent agent.

I'm sure the reason USAA required you to insure your TV as well as your AS is because liability coverage for a trailer is provided by the vehicle pulling it. When you buy coverage for the trailer, you're buying physical damage coverage only, and most carriers won't issue an auto policy without at least one auto on it.

Regardless of who you insure with, be sure to ask about GAP coverage if you financed. Your insurance carrier should be able to provide GAP at a fraction of the cost offered by the finance guy at the dealership.

Great Choice!

Hey Steve,

WAY TO GO! You'll really like the CCD....but then I may be just a 'little' biased in my opinion .

Have a great time in the new baby....................

Last night Collin our son got in the AS for a full tour. All I heard from him were the words neat and trailer about every other word. He tried out all the light switches , remarked about the music coming from the speakers over the bed and enjoyed the fact he could reach the over head cabinet where the bed was and move the doors. I think this one will be a real winner. Now if I only knew how to cook in a convection microwave... Yes more recipes to learn!

IF the little sharp mic/conv cookbook didn't come with the unit, find the pdf version on line...

it's very helpful.

also check out our sister forum, discuss cooking.

http://www.discusscooking.com/

or some of the many sites on convection cooking...

MicrowaveConnect.com The "Official" Microwave Convection Oven Cooking Site.

the bigger issue, imo is size.

because this bugger is compact dishes and recipes need adjustments.

and don't run the a/c while the oven is on full action...

and that new sig line is perfect!

cheers

Wow...there has been a MAJOR fiasco with shipping the Caravanner. Turns out the MO DMV did not key the correct VIN number of the trailer in when I registerd it in our name. When they sent the title to me I just stuck it in our fire safe. NOT ANYMORE. The Caravanner reached New Jersey ship port where it was turned away for not matching. Having to think on my feet I called South Jersey RV and asked for their help. They store units at $45.00 a month, and I will purchase a month of insurance on it tomorrow. I will then end up paying to ship the unit back to the port on my own dime. All this because the state made a big error.

I highly advise anyone titling their trailer to doublecheck the new title to ensure they did it properly.

Should I add the $500 it is going to cost me for this to my signiture?

Did you find the convection direction to achieve perfection?

Bummer Steve,

I once bought a 1957 Ford Fairlane 500 in Texas when I lived there. The title had the correct VIN, but said 1957 Chevy. Don't know if it ever got corrected by the person I sold it to.
