Why copper tubing to shower valve? Be curious what you settle on for the constant temp shower valve too. Seems there are some existing AS shower doors that people have had luck with on the 22FB.
Our winter upgrade is likely just a mattress, and perhaps finding a way to get some more solar on the roof...or at least buying some solar panels before the tax incentives go away.

the PEX elbow easily cracks
copper is much more reliable
i have an extra constant temp moen valve from our last home upgrade
this will allow the temp to be set and easier to get the same temp each time
re shower door, pls post links to what others have used
i've asked AS part dept and the say they don't sell any solid doors
i have 2x100W long, narrow panels on the roof
1x150w panel on a SS piano hinge over the rear bathroom window

New 22FB being delivered Tuesday. I'll watch for your comments. Have two lithium batteries instead of stock AGM. Biggest challenge is backing it into our narrow driveway on a narrow street. We know it fits cause the AS dealer test-delivered it before we bought it and had them do pre-acceptance checks at the dealership. We'll likely use it as an extra room/studio at home. We don't have much below-freezing weather in NorCal. Only in February. I'll need to write out a checklist to prep for that and for boondocking. Guess I'll have to get a quiet, electric-start, LPG generator too. It will need to power the one AC unit. Eventually, I'll add solar but will need to calculate the number and size of panels. Your comment about cracking PEX is a worry. Did you have a leak to repair? How did you get behind the shower wall to do that? Thanks, Roy

I would be interested to know what "long narrow" solar panels you have?
