We are going to put ours on the slider of the screen door. How long does it take to receive the badge? We ordered ours about 3 weeks ago. Thanks.

I thought about routing out a spot in the center of the table, then coating with Polyurethane. I'm afraid to try a coating on the badge for fear it will dissolve the text.

If you're talking about the plaque you get when you name your trailer, mine took about a month to arrive. I mounted it down towards the bottom right of the door.

I felt like it took a long time to get ours, so I called Airstream and was told that they wait for a certain number of requests to get a batch of them made. If you are at the head of the batch, it will take longer than if you happened to order when they were ready to send the batch in. In all, ours took about two months. BTW, we placed ours on the body of the AS to the left of the door (FB Twin), just out of the way of the awning pillars.

I just got mine in the mail. Can't believe many here don't know about it. I don't care about the clear coat. I want to stick it outside as well. Not sure where yet. I guess it will have to wait until I get The Oyster out of storage next Spring.

Does anyone know if it’s possible to change the name in the future for a fee or is it a one time deal tied to the VIN and owner. We have a name for our trailer today but we were thinking the kids may want to change it after they grow up so it’s best to wait. I can’t buy another trailer :^).

We just bought a 2023 19CB. Can you educate us on what the naming badge is you are referring to, and how do we get one?

I'm putting mine on the front rock guard (street side). I figure that if it messes up the clear coat, at least it's not on the body.

i posted a photo somewhere.
i peeled off the yellow/torn/worn Thor label (wrecked two fingernails doing that).
and hubby riveted it in place just below the seam above the international logo. so seam, badge, international logo, and the christopher deam signature label (which after 15 years is not really holding up to snuff sadly).
