If you have the pic saved in your computer,... Right-click on the filename, and select "rename" and use the .jpg conjunction... then save it. Then you can upload it.

Thanks. I meant - is there a way to do this with a pic right on your iPhone?

Registered
Hey All! I just registered my 1967 Safari and was accepted. Hopefully I will get the plate to add to the Landshark along with the other badging on the right hand side panel near my entry door! Ed

Honestly, the whole thing is just a marketing campaign. If you register with their site, eventually you'll get a medallion and a certificate...and later, email suggesting you take a look at the new Basecamp and whatever else they are building. We're fine with that, so we were happy to register.

Well Sure
I guess that goes without saying that it is a ploy to get your e-mail address for promotions. That's okay as I look on the factory store site all the time to see what new items they come out with so this will also lead to seeing some new items and trailers that come to market. Ed

where to stick my official name badge?
We got ours (by the way - that last Burma Shave with the cat was damn funny!).
We're thinking of sticking it to a magnet and either putting it on the fridge or perhaps on the door screen with another magnet on the other side of the screen to hold it there. We have an "M" for that now. Total marketing thing and I don't care. I like it! 😀

The site says that they're limited to the first 500 registrants. I'm going to send in my info but am guessing nothing for me except marketing info

I think they have been handing them out way past the 500 stated limit. You should be good.

Oh no!
I hope they turn it back on. My wife and I just bought a 2017 Sport 16 and have to wait until December to pick it up! We were excited about being able to name our first Airstream! Marketing or otherwise, this wasn't even thought about with our Coachmen we are trading out of !

Huh? I just clicked on the link and it came right up. See https://www.airstream.com/community/name-registry/

I tried by phone first - not good. I used DW's laptop to complete the process. No problem. Good luck! And they'd be crazy to limit this to 500 people! This should be an automatic for everyone interested. C'mon Mr. Wheeler 😀

I tried on two computers multiple times using three different browsers. I did get registered after filling every blank but blog and using Firefox on a PC.

I'd forgotten about this. It's been almost two months since we registered, and we haven't received anything yet.

Working on the site?
I think they are working on that site today. Several times I've received the "404" Page not found error on the links. Tried again later and it was working. I put my request is this morning and our picture and story are already out there. I don't see any way to edit it yet ( I have a grammatical error I want to fix). I clicked the link for Facebook and it just took me back to the registration page.
There is a place to put in a search, like year, name or model, and it asked for a userid and password. Nothing I put in worked. Now it's back to actually doing the search instead of asking for a log in. The picture shows that you can edit your page, but I don't see any option for that.
So I think you can still register, just keep trying and you'll probably get in. It seems to be a work in progress.
