What is on my Bambi roof

I have an unknown object on the roof of our new 2018 FC19. Just checked with a friend who has a 2014 and his doesn't have this. Neither of us know what this is. It's a white plastic module about 18" wide, 6" front to back and 3-4" high with three round openings that look like fans facing aft.

Can anyone tell us what this is?

Sounds like your pre-wired solar combiner (Zamp).

In trying to get a picture to post but we are out dry camping and the Imgur.com link(to my photo) in seeing on my iPad is apparently not a valid link.

Got the link to the photo fixed. Awfully big for a solar combiner I would think.

However, that is what it is.

Yup! That is a 3 port ZAMP combining box and it belongs there. No worries!

Thank you all. The Google image helped. Can't imagine how one would find room on a 19' for 450W of solar but glad to have the combiner although I doubt we'll ever use it.

Hi

My guess is that it's easier for them to stock one gizmo than to have multiple different combiners. Given how "interesting" it is to pull wire through a trailer, having as much pre-wired as possible is a *good* thing. (except for the weight ....)

This is what it looks like with an 80w solar panel installed on a 2017 16' Bambi.

You'll need one of these as well.
