We Are Back
We really didn't go anywhere, we just didn't have much activity on the Air Forums this past year.
In route to drop off the Mobile Suites for scheduled service at the Mobile Suites dealership I decided to take a short detour and stop at Camper Clinic II and check out the Airstreams during lunch hour. Honestly, I knew the minute I pulled into the dealership there would be no way of leaving without trading. We traded in the Mobile Suites 5th Wheel today and are returning as Airstream owners.
I can't explain it, but once you own an Airstream it seems nothing ever satisfies the soul again like an Airstream. The deal was finalized today at 3 PM and the anticipation is already building. We take delivery of our 2015 Sport 22 FB this coming Tuesday. We've never had a front bed and have always wanted one so now it will be nice to have one. We also like the layout of the rear bathroom and the surprising roominess fit into this small of a footprint. It was fun this afternoon exploring every space (bottom to top, outside to inside).

Yup, I know what you mean. After 30 years in MHs, I was sick of them, and had to have another Airstream. Congratulations. She's a beauty!

But I am surprised that being 22' it is not a tandem axle unit.

Tell us when Bruce, we're ready. The last time we towed the Mobile Suites 5th wheel it was painful driving into 35+ MPH winds and seeing the MPG on the truck read 8.7. Today while towing the Airstream home from the Airstream dealership the MPG read 14.3. What a nice feeling.
