I broke my wrist in an off-road motorcycle accident. Was in a cast for 6 weeks. I found one of these indispensable:

You'll also want to get something to protect the cast when in the shower. It will make life so much easier.

Bummer! But, could have been much worse. Hope it heals quickly for you.

I broke both of my arms at the same time when I was a kid. I had a full cast on my left arm and my right wrist in a splint and sling all summer. I was unconscious for a full day following that accident. Fortunately, I had my mom to take car of me during the healing process. I'm guessing that's probably not an option for you.

Thanks! I'm ordering one of these right away!

I hope you heal before it's necessary to re-wax!

Hit a deer while on a motorcycle in my younger days. I feel your pain.
Glad to see you have a sense of humor about it.

A scaffold can be cheaper than deductibles.

I didn't even finish getting the pollen off! There is one last patch of green on the rear end cap. I don't know what's going to drive me crazy first.....the cast or that pollen.
