URGENT - Can’t turn off under bed light!.

Hi all,

I’ve just picked up a 2013 22’ FB Sport.

There is a dim light emitting from under/behind the bed.

For the life of me, I can’t figure out how the hell to turn it off!

Can anyone tell me where the switch is? I don’t want to run the batteries down.

Thanks!

I faced that in my Classic 33 twin. Do you have an outside storage compartment under that bed? If so, the storage compartment light might be on. Open the compartment and see if the light is switched on (or was switched on by shifting cargo).

I bet you’re right, storage compartment light. Just stayed in a new hotel with under the bed floating lighting, didn’t think Airstream was doing that, yet [emoji23]

Had the same happen on one of our first trips. I put a piece of painters tape over the switch as a temporary fix against it getting bumped and it's been that way ever since.

When I first got the AS, I thought the storage light came on automatically when I opened the door. I never saw a switch, and I suppose I bumped it on with the power cable!

I must have done the same thing took us awhile to find what was draining our batteries.

Just happened to me last weekend! Will use previous posters tape idea as this seems like one of those things that is bound to happen again!

Anyone with a 22FB who left the storage light on (me included) gets to wonder where the night light is when it gets dark. Glad everyone knows now.

I wonder if this was an AS design feature? LOL.
