Silly shower door

This may be the silliest problem yet, but it does cause an issue in that we cannot close the shower door. The hole for the door is approximately 1/2 inch above the small post that holds it. Unfortunately, we get water coming out of that small opening.

And yes, I have pulled, pushed, tugged, and attempted to do everything for them to line up. Has anyone had this same issue? And knows the quick fix?

Is your trailer parked leveled?

Can't move the catch-hole, but maybe you can relocate the plastic bolt piece?

Thanks. We are parked level in the driveway. I
Am just looking to silicone over the old screw hole and screwing in “the nub” in the correct location. Seems like the easiest fix.

Jeff, was it this way from day one? If not, something has 'slipped' and lost the alignment - may be either the frame or the receiver post.

Being a 2019, you have 3 years of warranty. Might be good to take it to the dealer and have it checked for a much greater issue. Just moving the nib will fix the results but not the root cause.

Jeff, my shower door does the exact same thing. I find that by latching the door on an angle, lifting the door very slightly when pulling the door shut from inside the shower, it will latch. I consider it another idiosyncratic feature to learn on the trailer. The top frame of the shower door also kept popping out, which was held in place with just caulking. I ended up riveting it in place.

Mine does the same and I know what the problem is. At the top right corner of the frame the upper channel has popped up. I always re-seat (difficult at times) it and the door closes fine afterwards. It only secured in place using double sided tape. I plan on fixing it permanently by drilling a hole and adding a rivet. I'll probably do it this weekend while fixing the last 2 rivets that pooped out during our last trip.

Thanks

You were absolutely correct, the right front corner had popped up and out. When I looked at it more closely it was a fairly easy fix. We will see if it stays as we head out tomorrow for 3 weeks. If not, I will like you drill a hole and add a rivet.

Thanks

Any more details, or a link? I truly hate the accordion door.

Thanks

I've popped it back countless times. I did drill and rivet it and it works fine now.
