Rivet Question

On a 2017 16' Sport the owners manual indicates replacement rivet types. What's the difference between the interior rivets ( AD45ABS ) and the exterior rivets ( SSD45SSBS )? Does it mean the exterior rivets are stainless steel?
I want to keep a number of replacements on-hand but the Airstream Store only sales the AD45ABS.
One of the window rock guard T-Handle rivets is loose and if I ever have to replace the handle or its hook while on the road I'm sol.

The original exterior rivets were bucked (hammered/bradded on the inside before the interior skin was installed). For replacement DIY, you will need Olympic (for exterior skin) rivets. They require a shaving tool to finish the head after installation. But, I've done head shaves with a file and sandpaper.

I keep 3 kinds as spares: interior pop rivets, exterior Olympic, and belly pan large head pop rivets. All are aluminum.

This is a link that will show you the different types

There is a parts manual available for your sport if you would like to download a copy. All fasteners are shown in section III.

The rivets that attach the T-Handle to the trailer and the hook to the window rockguard appear to be pop rivets not olympic or bucks. See the attached photo. The rivet mandrel holes were filled with sealant. In the Sport's parts manual the SSD rivets are listed as pop.

Thanks, I do have a copy and the rivet number on the owners manual and the parts list match. It just doesn't tell me what type of rivet it actually is.

Airabel,
The rivets in the black handle are stainless. At a minimum, you should put some sealant around it to stop leaking.
