Replace front privacy window cover?

Has anyone else had to replace the front window privacy cover?

This is the large window cover on the front that is dark in appearance and appears to be plexiglass of some type. It is hinged so that it can be opened upwards.

Over the weekend, ours got a large hole and crack while traveling. Is this something that Airstream can ship us and we do the work ourselves?

Also, if you have had to repair this, was it just the plexiglass replaced or the aluminum frame and all?

It looks like the whole window cover will slide sideways if a little rivet stop is removed.

Picture attached, light circle around what is being discussed.

Rock Guard

That is a rock guard and it sounds like it worked! Do a search for rock guards and see where you can purchase and/or order one. I have priced them before, but don't remember what the company name was. Also, Inland RV may have them.
