radio antenna

2006 16ft. Should the radio antenna be vertical or horizontal. I guess vertical. Have not gotten close enough to it to adjust but did try and pry it up with the awning hook to no avail. Any thoughts?

My 2006 has the antenna vertical. I don't think it has any adjustment to it but it's been a while since I got up there. I don't think it make a whole lot of difference to reception unless the station you're trying to pull in is pretty far away.

Car antennas used to all be a vertical post but now they're incorporated into the car window, some vertical, some horizontal. If you're radio is working OK I wouldn't worry about it.
