New Bambi Special Edition Owner

HI GANG,
I JUST PURCHASED MY FIRST AIRSTREAM....IT'S THE 2006 BAMBI 16' SPECIAL EDITION.

I AM GETTING SO MUCH ATTENTION EVERYWHERE I GO.....IT'S UNBELIEVEABLE!!! PEOPLE LOVE THIS LITTLE SILVER EGG!!!

I HAVE 2 QUESTIONS....

1. IS THERE A SAFE WHEEL I CAN GET TO REPLACE THE METAL STAND
ON THE ELECTRIC JACK? I WANT TO BE ABLE TO MOVE THE TRAILER AROUND WHEN NECESSARY?

2 I USE 2 HONDA EU2000i GENERATORS TOGETHER FOR ELECTRICITY.

RIGHT NOW I JUST SIT THEM ON THE GROUND OUTSIDE

DOES ANYONE KNOW A SAFE WAY TO USE THESE GENERATORS AND PROTECT THEM FROM THE RAIN OR OTHER ELEMENTS AT THE SAME TIME.

Hi Majiklegs,
Welcome to the forums I am not sure I would want to roll something as large as an Airstream around, but dolly wheels are available from local trailer supply stores. They also make powered dollies for moving them too. As far as protecting your gennies I usually put mine under the rear end of my truck...I have also stuck a rubbermaid tub over them and for my big ones at work we just stick a sheet of plywood on top. Maybe a beach umbrella would work? BTW have you ever been to Old Town San Diego?...

Glad you are enjoying your new little Airstream. Welcome to the forums.

You do not want a wheel under your jack to "move it around when necessary" unless you are on a dead flat surface and you have others to help chock the wheels in a hurry. You would be amazed how fast a trailer on all wheels and any slope at all can get away from you and crash into things. They do make an electric power front dolly moving device for putting a trailer into a tight spot, but they are only used on pretty flat surfaces, and have brakes on them too.

(minor aside to you, all caps are not generally used in forum posts. They are the equal to SHOUTING to everyone).
