My DWR
4 years ago today was a life changing event ... I towed "It", my Airstream Bambi out of Colonial Airstream's driveway. We have had four happy years together, I am looking forward to another 40+. I was a nervous wreck that day, the biggest purchase I ever made. And at that time not knowing how many wonder people and places "It" would bring into my life. I look forward to the day my DWR Bambi is vintage, and I can say, "it's all original". To my Airstream friends I say
"See you down the road"

We've only owned our little AS for 9 months but we've already enjoyed it more than we could have ever imagined! That little DWR is sweet and will surely be a special vintage model someday
Wishing you many more memories....

Good for you!
I forget where I saw it posted, but someone once said that if it weren't for those of us that bought new, the whole thing would fall apart. Congrats on your anniv. !

I was a road tripper, we had a VW bus and drove coast to coast every year since I was 4. Never a tent camper. Always lover Airstreams, and wanted one. So when I decided to bite the bullet, everything was going to be a learning experience, to scared to not get new. You are right, got to feed the source.

Congrats on your 4th Anniversary of aluminum ownership! I still think your purchase of the DWR was the best ever - although the M9 was pretty solid as well. And attending a WBCCI Rally a couple of weeks later was the icing on the cake! I wish you and your rig forty more years of airstream dreams.

You will continue to be surprised how quickly time flies! I took my first camping trip in my '64 Overlander nearly 48 years ago, and I purchased the coach just short of 17 years ago. I am hoping for another 15 to 20 years with my Overlander, but only time will tell.
Enjoy your travels!
Kevin

Kevin,
Nice sounds like you have had wonderful Airstreaming adventures. My 1st outing was 4 years ago today. No idea what I was doing, could only remember half of what the showed me at Colonial. I went to KOA in Mystic CT, they were wonderful, helped me a lot.

That's funny. Our introduction to the wonderful world of trailers started in earnest with visiting a T@B rally at that very park in Mystic.
Enjoy your DWR!
Tom
