First blood (Bambi 1, Belbein 0)

Taking measurements of the closet today, leaned in to get the bottom depth with my tape meaure and BAM! Whacked the ever-loving ^()*+@#)@#!!! out of my head on that shelf that is positioned at the perfect height to knock the sense into me. Bled like a stuck pig.

It's not an airstream work day without hitting your head!

baseball caps will never be fashion accessories and they don't absorb that much shock, but it's enough to stop the bleeding part!

See people, being the short one DOES have it's advantages. Glad you didn't knock yourself out!

Older Airstream pulled into our parking lot today - driver needed to check his umbilical cord because the trailer brake lights weren't working. Blown fuse - quick fix. Introduced them to the forum.

Wife offered me a quick tour of the Caravel - Laughed when I saw a foam rubber cutout of a DUCK over the door. One way to cushion a blow.

That's why that padded area is there on the inside over the door opening.

My wife said, "You may have a concussion." I said, "Well, you'll know if I start babbling nonsense." And she said ...

Well, you know.

Yeah, I was gonna say... The wife and I have gone through the doorway lots of times and never hit our head once. We're built low to the ground for speed and stability.

We have a saying in our family. You will need at least three trips to the hardware store and no project is compete without a little blood somewhere.

I am glad you finished your project.
