Current Bambi Models?

Can someone tell me the year the current interior designs and layouts for Safari Bambis (16' & 19') come onto the scene...as closely as I am able to tell from poking around, it was around 2002 or 2003, but I'm not certain... And when were the Safari SE models and International CCD versions first offered? Much thanks!

I'm trying to sort this out too. From what I can see, the 16' transition to the front dinette/rear fixed double bed came in 2004. I've seen CCD and Safari models in that trim, but not sure if AS offered each trim level in each year. (I've seen CCD models from 2004, a 2005 Safari, and a 2006 75th anniversary without the front wrap window.)

The wife and I MUCH prefer that floorplan to the earlier 16' Bambi set-up that has a single dinette or couch seating/bed area in the front and a larger wrap-around galley around the back.

If anyone has seen a 2003 16' with the dual sleeping areas, I'd love to know if it exists - would give more prospective model years for purchase.

Thanks Patrick. I use that feature on your website all the time.

I guess the question that remains is: what floorplan is the 2003 Bambi 16'? Same as 01-02, or same as 04?

One more question - when did the rear wraparound window become available? Was it when the CCD came out in 2004, or was it later?

Airstream did not have a 16' Bambi model in the 2003 Production year. The 16' International CCD (Current Floor Plan) was released as a 2004 in the 2003 calendar year.

The Rear Panoramic windows option was available on later 2004 production models.

Thanks again! Oh, I do wish they made an "used car/RV/etc. factory" where a trailer matching your exact desires just pops out ready to be sold - just like that 04 with the dual wrap windows....
