Collins subwoofer and Polk marine radio

I have a 2018 Tommy Bahama AS and the subwoofer doesn’t come on every time I power up the Polk radio. I did not get a manual for the Collins subwoofer. I have adjusted the crossover and gain on the subwoofer but still not right. Any input on this?
