Us lucky Airstreamers are the ones who have inside storage for them. Maintenance, leaks, theft, and degredation are all reduced by inside storage.
Don't use "Simple Green" cleaners on aluminum...not even the one claimed to be for Aircraft! I've got personal proof it tarnishes/stains aluminum despite the company's claims.
I would be a bit concerned about any product that does not have something like a MSDS / active ingredients list associated with it. Not just in terms of the (very valid) issues of aluminum rot. There are a whole variety of things on a trailer that can be mucked up soaking them in "who knows what" every two weeks forever and ever.
I used some Honda Pro Cleaner and Polish spray, that I use on my motorcycles, on the aluminum and WD 40 on the stainless rock guards and both did a great job. I've not cleaned the white portion on the roof yet, but I'll try the Honda Pro Cleaner and Polish there also. This is on a 2014 Flying Cloud 25FB Twin that we recently purchased. The trailer was really dirty and I went through a dozen or more microfiber cloths cleaning with the grain of the metal.

Thanks for the 'heads up'.
My wife keeps waving the Simple Green bottle.
