Bambi eye-candy.....

Figured some here might enjoy these. These are a few pictures I've taken over the past few months:

I am so jealous, my poor Bambi sits in driveway covered in snow with below zero windchill. Wish I was on the road.

Thanks guys. Sorry the cold is throwing a wrench in your travels. It was a bit "cold" here recently so we made the drive down to Joshua Tree National Park, then Death Valley a few weeks after that. Great places and temps just above 60 degrees during the day (+/- 40's at night)

Death Valley campground isn't as scenic, but there's a lot of exploring via 4X4 that IS:

Good thought to show that some tow vehicles see double duty. I'd like to add a few shots, the first showing us making the June Lake loop on our way back to Oregon from a Southern California swing last April.
The second photo is in Death Valley last March, while leading a group of Land Rovers on a week-long expedition. This shot was taken as we were descending Dedeckera Canyon on the last day, heading north.
We tow a 75th Winick Custom with our Nissan Frontier, which I also use for several off-pavement expeditions a year. For those trips, I have a roof-top tent mounted over the pick-up bed.
The third shot shows my camping set-up, this one taken on the same Death Valley trip while camped in Hidden Valley. The sun is just setting behind us, with the moon just rising over the other side of the valley.

Thanks for coming through with some more awesome photos. Joshua Tree is next on my list. Just finished a Salt Point SP trip on the coast ... awesome place as well. Thanks again for sharing your professional shots!

Great shots. Death Valley is a tough spot to beat as far as we're concerned, although Joshua Tree is also great. Thanks for sharing the pics and happy traveling!!

Haha, not quite professional but I appreciate the compliments. We're using an Equalizer brand hitch. Would highly recommend it to anyone.

Here's a small contribution to seeing this drool-worthy thread grow. Wish our Bambi could be in a killer western landscape like Death Valley! We vacationed there (non-RV) two years ago. Words can't express how much we loved it!

Lone Pine / Alabama's

Markj55,

Great photo of snow in the Alabama's. We stayed at Boulder Creek RV a couple of years ago with the AS and our Jeep and we had snow fall on Christmas Day!
