Camping in Oregon

Camping along the Klamath River, Oregon, and other stops along the coast. Have my new motorized boat loading system so I can take my fishing boat and my Bambi. Got a lot of comments from people about the perfect set up.

Wade Lake, Montana. Last week, cause there is no cell reception at Wade Lake, which is one of the best reasons to stay there!

Not sure what Pm means, maybe "post more"?

I was camping 2 weeks ago at a favorite mountain lake in the Sierra Mts, California, and got 5 comments about my "perfect" set up. My airstream, fishing boat, and Dixie dog - a chocolate lab.

Even before I got the Bambi, I had a smaller fiberglass trailer which was great, but the issue was we had to take two cars to take the trailer and the boat. Relatively short trips not a huge issue, but still a pain. Not sure how I found these guys, must have been some sort of Google search, but I found two brands of automatic boat loading systems. The one I chose had the best reviews. 4 Boys Manufacturing in Canada.

Here is a video from their website, and I will say mine works just like the video. No smoke and mirrors. In fact my remote control is wireless now, in the video they plugged it in. Load My Boat Products: Watch Videos

I've got a 14' Valco boat and it loads it and secures it. I get a lot of people coming over to see how I'm going to get the boat on or off the roof by myself, and then they are amazed to see it motorized. Of course it's not as easy as having the boat on the trailer because I have to take the engine off and stow it and the gas tank, and all the gear, in the back of my truck before loading it, but it's great to have the perfect set up with my Bambi and my boat.

They have a Facebook page too, and you'll see the same photos of my Toyota Tacoma, boat on top, and the Bambi. You will see they have both front and rear loading systems for those who have a 5th wheel trailer.

Now go have fun.

My back feels better already!!!!

I LOVE IT!. I have a heavy duty cap on my truck with supported racks as we used to lift a 14' Mirrocraft on it but since my back condition, this is what I need. No need for huge motor......I'm happy with lil electric and a bobber. Thank you very much

Canada trip

We went to Canada last summer to Banff, Lake Louise and Jasper. Such beautiful country and the state campgrounds were spotless with full hookups. I saved the shipping charges on the boat loading system and picked it up in Calgary which is only an hour or so from Banff. Here are some "eye candy" shots from that trip.
