New Bambi, Nice Surprises

This being our first Airstream, we were very pleasantly surprised whilst going about our outfitting and re-decoration of the new bambino in our driveway. In the midst of installing the articulating arm for the LCD TV, I became curious as to where the air conditioning condensation was dripping on the outside of the trailer. Our old Holiday Rambler dripped wherever it took a notion to along the roof and down the sides taking direction from the precision of the most recent leveling exercise. Lo and behold, the Bambi has a drain tube to neatly route the water to an exit just inside the streetside wheel well. What a great idea! Then, I decided to do a test hook-up of the new Flush-King sewer drain valve connector. I got out my Thetford-to-Valterra adapter that I had just ordered since everyone knows that Airstream uses the non-standard Thetford connection. Lo and behold, the Bambi comes with a standard Valterra type sewer pipe connection and no adapter was necessary. Finally, the Masters golf tournament is on. I crank up the Wineguard and make sure the booster is on, hit the auto-program on the new 17" LCD TV, and lo and behold, perfect reception on the local CBS channel. Another great Masters finish, by the way, for those who missed it. Tiger Woods wins his fourth green jacket in overtime.

Dreamstream,

Glad to read your recent posts, those of your concerns being addressed, and especially this one talking about your TT in the driveway!

We have a pile of stuff in the garage to outfit our new TT, and we will be picking it up this weekend. Hopefully we can bring home with no issues.

Life is good, enjoy!

Good luck redeagle313! There's a very strong impulse comes over you to make or force the unit to be perfect and just what you ordered. Don't be "in denial" if some issues present themselves. You're gonna love owning an Airstream trailer!
