Bambi bedroom windows???

Just wondering why the bambi has a much smaller window in the bedroom. It seems just a few years ago it had big wrap around windows just like in front by the dinette. Was there a compelling reason cause it was so much sunnier and spacious feeling in the older model.

Bambi refers to any AS with a single axle. There are multiple sizes. The 16' has the wrap around windows on both ends. The 19' and 20' do not. It's a function of the floor plan. In the 16 the bed is full width so the wrap around windows work. In the 19 there is a shower in the street side rear corner so a wrap around window won't work. If you look at the floor plans for the various size Bambi's I think you'll understand.

I believe that what was posted above was true on some previous 16 foot bambi models like the DWR, Quicksilver, and International models.

The 16 sport model does not have the full panoramic window in the bedroom.

Windows as well as other features are different on the sport models. This is reflected in their lower price point, weights, and decor.

SOME Sport models... For example, in the 22' Sport, ... our '08 has small windows up front... our friend's '14 22' FB Sport has panoramic windows up front. The queen bed up front in both can be very different in convenience. For example, the '08 queen is a convertible dinette which would benefit from panoramic windows up front in dinette mode (but doesn't have them) while the Front Bed '14 has panoramic windows up front (where they reduce privacy in-bed and make for uncomfortable sitting-in-bed-reading experiences because one cannot lean against the pano-windows comfortably. The '08's small windows provide privacy as well as bed/reading comfort.

At least that's our take on it. Wife thought she wanted pano windows...until we saw the '08 and thought about it. (We keep our queen bed permanently made, and eat off the lounge using TV tables.)
