Atwood Furnace 7900-11

Atwood Furnace
Mdl 7916-11, 16000 BTU, installed in 2006 Bambi 19'er

I have looked every where I can think of to no avail. What I need is:

Inside the front cover, there is a switch on the upper right side, Up - Reset, Down - Off. My furnace works in the "Reset" position. Correct? I have searched and can find nothing on that SWITCH itself. Maybe I am delving into this too far. I would think it would say something like, "Operate," or something along those lines rather than reset for normal operation.

I have manuals for installing, but nothing on normal/simple operation--I don't want to install it, just use it correctly. Thank ya...

There's an online manual at http://www.atwoodmobile.com/manuals/furnaces/MPD%2032072%20SP%201.08.pdf

but I think it's an installation manual. I'm looking for an operating manual as well, because since you mentioned it, I discovered I don't have one, either.

Thanks, I have seen that one. I cannot find anything other than the installation information. As an example, there is a simple procedure to go through to turn the furnace on after the power interuption. If it had not been for a great individual on this forum informing me of the sequence, I would have never known because I have not seen it in print. If ya find something, let me know. Thanks for info. Thanks, Tom

I haven't been able to find any other manual for it, not even on the Atwood site.

Thermostat is located over the right side of the sink in the bedroom. On/Off switch is on the bottom of thermostat. Pull it toward you (on), hit the source button and you can select Furnace, HVAC, Fan only, etc. Move Source button and select Furnace. Now, you can set temp by using the up and down buttons on thermostat. Same procedure for setting your AC/Heat temp on your HVAC. Hope this helps....

Thanks, I had a feeling it may of been there, as we were unable to use the air con in New Zealand we removed it not realizing the heater was part of that control. Will have to do some homework and re wire it to another control
