Looking to buy my first travel trailer and I really love the layout and style of the 22FB Sport. My only concern with it is headroom for both walking and sleeping in the trailer. I am 6'2" and based on the dimensions there does not seem to be much room to play with there. Just curious what you owners feel about the space in this model when it comes to that?
Thanks
We have a 22 sport and one of the main reasons that we chose it is that it has the longest bed of ANY Airstream. Even the really large ones. Of course this is at the straight side. The curved side by the front is naturally not as long. We find the bed very comfortable.
It also has decent headroom in the shower, and the space in-between the shower and toilet is full height for toweling off and dressing.

I have the 20ft FC, and am 6'6". No problem with headroom (of the bed) when I go backnforth cooking something good in its incredible galley. Don't have any experience with the 22ft Sport, however. So if you don't fit in the latter...consider the former. jon
We have a 2011 22FB Sport Bambi and there is plenty of headroom. I'm 83 and about 6'2"(descending from 6'-4). I bought it because of the room and because it is very light, I can tow it with my Toyota Sierra.
I really appreciate all the feedback, it sounds like there is nothing to worry about. I was on the fence with the 23FB FC but the weight increase seems pretty significant from the Sport and just too close to the weight limits for my small Tacoma for me to really feel comfortable.
Thank you again, hope to see some of you out on the road soon.
