OMG I did not even know there was such a thing! That is cool! Thank you again for the info and photos. How long does your one lithium battery last before having to charge it? I’m considering starting with 2 so they’ll be the same age instead of waiting to add a second later.

Waninae, I have the parkit360 and love it. In your pic it looks like you put the jack directly into the park it. How do you remove the parkit from the trailer when you get it where you want it?

I use the ball hitch to load the parkit, so the jack is free.

its easy

1st place rubber chalk blocks around the wheels t so that the AS does not move
2nd put the stabilizer down on all 4 corners, they can take the weigh of the AS. i use a Btooth remote level inside the AS
3rd raise the post out of the parkit it 360
4th place the foot back on the post lower it as a 5th post to stabilize the AS

i use to use the ball hitch but the parkit wheels would hit the post and feet
i called them and complained.
they said just use the post, that's why the hole is the same size.

now i can move the parkit 190 degrees

Thanks. Never heard that about stabilizers.

Are you sure the stabilizers are built to carry that weight?

I was always told to not put weight on them as it can bend and torque the frame.

I have found if you really tighten the ball to the hitch, then my parkit does not hit the jack as you describe. It did at first.

Since the tongue weight is only 600-1000 pounds, I wonder if you could just use a manual jack on the ball hitch to remove the parkit.

I like the idea of not having to use the ball hitch on the parkit as it take a while to get it right enough.

the 4 stabilizers ARE NOT holding the 4000-6000 lb weight of the AS.
the wheels take most of the weight. my tongue is <500lbs, that is < 250 lbs per each jack( only 2 take the weight as the AS balance on the wheels front and back)

it is more like the tongue weight on the 4 posts, with the front or the back taking the most weight depending on where you walk inside. The load is not static

give it a try. my AS 22FB is on a sloppy driveway and i have never had an issue

BTW, i tried to tighten the ball etc. the wheels were still to close to the post even with the foot removed

i think you mean to say "add cabinet on the CURB side"
there are already cabinet on the street side

some of the FC and higher models have curb side cabinets
maybe you can call AS and get the part number for those models that have curb side ones above a dinette unit

We changed out the furnace thermostat from the clunky mechanical stock one to a digital version. Much better!

Changed out incandescent light bulbs to LED. So much better.

Planing to replace stock Stero with one that has Bluetooth technology to stream music from phone.

Question: Has anyone changed the dinette table so when the table is down to make it a bed, it is flush with the bench? We frequently use our dinette as a bed for kids and it's very uncomfortable with the hump where the table rests on the bench. Any ideas?

Our freezer springs gave out, so the freezer door falls open when we open the fridge.

Two questions:

1.). What specifically is better about the digital thermostat?

2.). What bulbs weren’t already LED? I thought they were all already Leds....

Hi, with the cheap manual thermostat I could not get the temperature that I wanted. It was a constantly guessing game. [too hot, too cold Etc.] With my digital thermostat I can set it at 70 degrees and it will kick on at 69 degrees and shut off at 71 degrees.
One slight touch of the manual thermostat and you could easily go five or more degrees either way.

Interesting. I actually have the opposite problem in my home and have spent hours reading about ways to INCREASE the “deadband” because it’s tough on the furnace to be short-cycling.

I think I’ll keep an eye out for a smoking deal on digital thermostats and upgrade when it’s too cheap not to . (Will a standard household thermostat be sufficient?)

i changed 4 door from euro hinge to piano hinge

this is my second attempt for the enhanced door handle.

1st one was at the bottom, , but there was not enough room from behind.

with the handle up top, there is sufficient clearance

i epoxied the old holed, painted them black and then sprayed black crinkle paint atop. this hides fingerprints etc.

now we can pull the door closed with the SS bar and not the black handle.
WHY, as others report in the forum, the handle is a weak point and can snap off after too many cycles
