2 Blue Wires - Atwood Thermostat Sport 16

There are 2 blue wires that connect to the junky Atwood analog thermostat. I'm changing to a digital, heat only, Honeywell thermostat.

Got any idea where the blue wires go on the new digital Pro 1000 Honeywell?

Most digital thermostats require 3+ wires. You may find the junky two wire domestic is likely a simple on-off switch. It requires no additional wires to run the brain.

That said, the digital may not work in your case.

T stat is just an on off switch . Dig take some power . Find a separate source unless it has a battery . Good luck .

The wiring diagram that came with the thermostat should tell you which terminals to use.

The thermostat cannot get power from the two blue wires coming from the furnace, so you have to use a thermostat with its own power supply (battery).

Look at page 3>

If you have the thermostat type TH1110D with the three terminals marked "C R W", use R and W.
Which wire goes to the terminal does not matter.

Batteries power the new thermostat and there is a jumper between C & R .
W is where I attached the other wire.

The Honeywell thermostat is commonly used by A-Streamers (Bambi only?)and I thought for sure someone would have an idea which blue wire went where.

I made some uneducated guesses and it seems ok.

I have an older version Honeywell digital thermostat in my Safari. It really makes the trailer more comfortable. The temperature variance is reduced to ~1 or 2 degrees.
You will be really glad you made this change.

ps:
The furnace's instruction says thermostat wire position does not matter. Position is not important because the thermostat is just acting as a switch, completing a circuit between the two wires.
