19ft C-channel frame tongue and WDH?

Do I need to do anything special when using WDH brackets on the open c-channel frame tongue? Do I need to have the frame boxed? I have a Eaz-lift Recurve R6 hitch. The brackets have the two plates that squeeze the frame. They are like equalizer style. The trailer is a 2016.
