Front Bed Head rest storage

I built a matching headrest storage to the padded one that comes with the trailer. I never understood why they left this end open. Things are always falling into this space including pillows.

I decided to make it level with the mattress to allow a spot for a backrest cushion to sit. A great place to read at night. The wedge shaped cushions are from an old couch.

The headrest box is attached to the plywood bed rest with screws. The lid was cut to shape using a paper template and attached using a piano hinge.

Eastern South Dakota is very pretty with hills, rivers, and trees.
