Clothesline for 2005 Safari SS

Hi..

Does anyone have any creative ideas for a clotheline. I have been using a line attached to nearby trees when ever possible or the supports for the awning.

Interested to see some other ideas.

Regards, Bob

Hi Bob,

We ordered two 24" towel bars from EZ RV Products-Innovative and Practical RV Products Designed for RV'ers by RV'ers which have super suction cups. They attach to the wall of our bathroom when we are traveling and to the outside of our Interstate when we are parked. Our big issue is getting towels dry. These come in sizes from small to up to 48", I believe, are lightweight, inexpensive and work great.

clotheslines

You may want to think about other options. So many of the parks and campgrounds that we have been to have restrictions against clotheslines on the outside of your trailer.

Sorry this is so late but I just saw this post.
We have used heavy twine or small rope with a middle section of coated chain purchased from Home Depot.
The chain allows plastic hangers to fit and stay in place. My shirts turn in unison with the wind and look like a dance performance.

On a recent trip, I saw several SOB trailers with foldout clothes line structures attached to the rear of their units. Folded up against trailer body when not in use; pulled out to an angle when hanging clothes--several rods to hang items on, about the width of the trailer. I don't know where these are available, how they attach or stay secure during travel, or how they would work with an AS exterior, but they surely did look handy. ~G
