Vintage Trailers at the Lake rally (Tahoe)

I thought that I would pass on to anyone that would be in or near the Lake Tahoe area Sept. 17-18 2010 that there is going to be a vintage trailer rally in South Lake Tahoe. The rally is for All makes of trailers made from the 1930's to the early 70's. Looking at the rally list I see that of nearly seventy trailers sixteen of us will be Airstreams. For those interested in seeing this group of vintage trailers the rally will be at the Tahoe Valley Campground located at 1175 Melba Dr. South Lake Tahoe, CA 96150 which is one block off of Hwy. 50 at "C street". This event is open to the public with a open house and trailer walk through on Sat. from 10am to 2pm. Although my family and I are new to the trailer and trailer rally scene if this group of people is half as nice as those that we met at last years Jackson Rancheria rally we are sure to have a good time.

Anybody been to this rally? We're thinking of going but it's a 5 hour trip and we're trying to make sure it would be a worthwhile trip.

This will be our first trip with this group.
I guess this rally had been previously held at Cassini Ranch in Duncan Mills. We found out about this group in RV Journal magazine advertising a rally they hold at Pismo Beach each year in May called Trail To Pismo.
At Pismo apparently there are over two hundred and fifty trailers that attend. The group is called (VINTAGETRAILERCAMP.COM) . Send us your email so we can forward you the rally's schedule and a list of the different trailers that will be there. Hope this is helpful answering your questions.
