Vintage Trailer Jam 2009

The Vintage Trailer Jam is back!

We'll be at the same cool spot as last year, Saratoga Spa State Park, in Saratoga Springs, NY.

This summer we're doing it a little later. Dates are August 13-17, 2009.

We've extended the event by a day to allow for more seminars, so it is now 5 days/4 nights, plus an option for early parking on August 12.

Space is very limited! We have 65 spots for vintage trailers (with limited "rally" electric hookups), and 60 spots for non-vintage or generator-using trailers. There will be a dump station and water for all. All brands of vintage trailers and motorhomes are encouraged to attend!

Price is $195 for trailer + 1 adult, and $30 per additional adult, which includes camping, seminars, entertainment, door prizes, and dinner on Saturday night. We'll also have a flea market, vintage Concours d'Elegance (by popular vote of attendees), and possibly a few surprises. People camping off-site can register for complete access including seminars and dinner for $35 per person.

Another change we've made this year: Children under 14 are FREE with any paid campsite registration. We want to encourage families to come and have fun in the park!

Yes, I hope to have the '68 Caravel this year, if I can get the interior back in it before Aug 13. That means a few work sessions in July ...

Hi Rich--I just signed up too, but somehow I ended up getting just signed up as an extra person, and didn't get charged for my rig. I'll figure it out.

Last year's Jam was the highlight of my summer. Can't wait!

We're signed up. Plan is to bring Rosie if it is 75% of more complete. I better get a move on!

Well- we are registered and are bringing our 1939 Clipper again!

To help get the word out- the first annual High Point Rally will be postponed until 2010!

We will be towing it up (hopefully not on a flatbed) but will also be bringing a separate trailer to camp in. You should come up and visit when you get home!
