I only know this from attending last year. Maybe this year it will be different.
Everyone gets water hose connection. As always, it is good to bring extra hose and a few extra Y connectors.
Spring water from the park is available walking distance away next to the "trailer park" that is, the JAM. There is usually a line of locals filling up containers at all hours. We walk over and fill our drinking water containers from this source.
Power does not happen until later on Wednesday as the attendees set up and the crack volunteer team snaps into action.

Reason: spelling & additional info
Article and nice photos of the area and our "campground"
We are heading north to the Region 1 Rally and on to the JAM. We have the truck and trailer packed, polished and plumped up the pillows. This has been one sleepy thread this year with no pre game hype about who can make the best pie. Let's hope at least ten people show up.
See you up the road.

Just a reminder, online registration ends on Saturday Aug 8. After that, anyone who decides to come last-minute can just show up and pay on site. The electric spots are just about gone, but there's plenty of non-electric (generator OK) sites to be had, so you won't get shut out. As of today we have about 70 trailers signed up.
By the way, door prizes to be given away this year include a Cyclo polisher and Worthington aluminum propane tanks. There's a lot of other stuff too.
I have a friend coming who wants to sell four Phish tickets at the original price of $65 each, so if you are coming and want to stay to see the show after the Jam, grab me when you arrive and I'll give you her cell phone #.
Can you post directions to get to the Jam? Last year we were cautioned not to come in from a certain direction so we would not have to pay the fee to enter the State Park.
Thanks.
I cancelled out back when but don't know if I got a refund. In any case if a spot is being held for me it's available to put someone else in. If I cann't get my money back then please put a show up at the gate in my spot on the dime I already sent in.

Hey Rich- If I had known about the polisher and tanks I would have passed on the wedding this weekend!

On the VTJ schedule I saw a reference to the Vintage parade at two on Wednesday. Anyone have a link to more info on this? Someone to call? I'd like to join in the lineup, if they're accepting last minute "intruders."

Not sure how to contact him, this was being done by an attendee, not something we coordinated. The person doing the parade is Vic Smith, he is on the forum as Startrekker 2000 IIRC....
