Well, the '49 needs a few minor things...frame, floor, a few windows, interior, systems...before she's ready for primetime...
We haven't had the GTO out in so long that I don't have any good digital photos of it; it's living in our storage building, but at least it has nice neighbors.

I don't know why, but some strange reason, I feel the need to say that this is a "cool mix" of trailers.

good day to all! I signed up early, before 5/31, and I was wondering when I will see the benefits of that. Also wondering when I will start getting Airstream Life. Is there a mailing detailing the finl schedule or do I just keep checking the Jam site. thanks.

Final schedule and goodies
Hi Skip
The early bird discount coupons (for signing up before 5/31) will be in your "goody bag" at the event. You'll be able to pick that up right after you get parked, at the main tent, along with a lot of other stuff.
Your comp subscription to Airstream Life will start with the Fall 08 issue, which comes out in August. People who already subscribe will get a 1-year extension on their existing subscription.
The final event schedule will also be in the goody bag. We expect to continue tweaking right up to the event date, but I can say that the latest schedule posted on the Jam site is about 70% accurate.
I also have a bonus for anyone who is in the market for a quiet Yamaha generator. We will have at least three to sell at the event, a EF1000iSC, a EF2400iSJ, and an EF30iSEBJ (replaces the older EF3000iSEB). The price will be comparable to Internet retailers, but with no shipping charge, and no tax.
The generators will be in like-new condition, having been used only for three or four days at the event. You'll be able to take your generator home on Monday July 14.
This offer is first-come, first-served, and only for people attending the Jam. You must pick up at the event, no delivery is available.
Click this link: Airstream Life » Contact only if you are seriously interested (please do your own research and determine which model you want before you ping me.) Don't post your request here! That doesn't count since I don't check this thread hourly. I'll ask you to mail a check for payment in full prior to the event, to hold your selection.

Directions?
Just confirming the location...is the jam happening on the grounds of the Saratoga Auto Museum? If yes, I found the location in mapquest as:
110 Avenue of the Pines
Saratoga Springs, NY 12866
Is this correct?

Directions
Everyone who is signed up will get an email or a letter soon with these directions and much more info.
The Jam is being held across the street (Avenue of the Pines) from the Auto Museum, so if you set your GPS to 110 Avenue of the Pines, Saratoga Springs, NY you will probably get there, but I recommend paying close attention to these directions to avoid problems:
ARRIVAL:
The recommended route to get to the VTJ 08 is Interstate 87 (NY State Thruway) to exit 13. Take Route 9N north 2.6 miles and turn left at the light onto Avenue of the Pines. Follow Avenue of the Pines one mile and you’ll see the Automobile Museum on the left.
(Do not take the first signed entrance off Rt 9N to “Saratoga Spa State Park PICNIC AREA” or you will have to pay an unnecessary $6 fee to get through a gate. )
If you are arriving during daylight hours, turn right to the VTJ camping area and someone will help you get parked.
If you are arriving at night, turn left into the Automobile Museum’s driveway, go to the back of the building, and park behind the museum where the sign says “BULLPEN.” Spend the night there and you’ll get parked in the morning. Please, don’t self-park in the camping area because space is tight and we have to follow a parking plan.
SPEED LIMIT:
Be aware that the speed limit in the entire Saratoga Springs State Park is 25 MPH. We have been warned that tickets are issued even for minor violations over the limit, so please be careful and keep your speed down at all times while in the park.
TOW VEHICLES AND MOTORHOME “TOADS”:
Tow vehicles and toads can be disconnected and stored in the paved parking areas of the Automobile Museum.
------------
Hopefully all other questions will be answered in the document we are going to email and snail mail this week. We'll have answers on what to bring, where to pick up your credentials, the utility situation, basic program, etc.
If, after reading that info, we haven't answered everything you need to know before you come, feel free to call 800-644-4620 or use the contact form linked in the posts above.

Abe, Maybe you should list them... Also, I cannot wait to tell you all about my visit to Trailer Buff, it was a humbling experience. We can have some pie and an adult beverage and talk all about it.
