I might have bunks but my hair is a little shorter these days. That is such an uncanny shot of Frank with the green key lime pie. Happy Hour is Happy Hour - it's not Potluck... the potluck follows Happy Hour in the WDCU... Frank - show them what it's all about my man!!!

I know that everyone will have a really great time, Rich has planned on some very nice lectures and informative meetings. Sandi and I are sorry we will be missing this first of possibly many more to come event. On the bright side, you won't be bored by one of my lectures or discussion round tables. We will be out at the American LeMans Series for the weekend. Look forward to hearing some great things from you all after the event.

Now there's a couple with conflicting priorities! I'd vote with ya and get to the ALMS as fast as I could. Cannot wait until the big race across the pond and the best battle on the grid pitting the Astons and the Vettes. Start your engines! HAPPY TRAILS

They found out about my alter ego Rob. Beth is going to make fresh Vietnamese spring rolls one night with peanut dipping sauce. I am fixing my authentic Jamacian jerked chicken (the recipe given to me in Negril contains ghanga, I will leave it out due to legal implications). I am keeping the east coast vintage menu under raps as to surprise everyone. A hint, it will be ayre hot monnnn... of course breakfast is always open to anyone that wants....
BTW, I have a couple of items to sell at the VTJ flea market that are too big to bring down unless I know somebody wants them. They include a used (but in perfect working condition) Dometic RM2862 refrigerator at a bargain price, and a 1963 Serro Scotty Sportsman 15-foot single-axle trailer.
If you are attending the VTJ 08 and interested in further details on either of these items, reach me through my Contact form.
I have not been able to find the generator hours. Anyone know what they are?
Thanks,\!
Hi Kathy!
You, Tex and Wags coming?
I couldn't find generator hours either.
Not too many people have ever camped on this turf.
At most campgrounds, quiet hours are usually from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m.,
but this ain't most campgrounds.
I think the setting here is more like a college campus (with frat parties, frisbee golf and hacky sack) than a KOA.
For those of you who do not know,
bugs is a true Southern Belle who really knows how to cook!
bugsbunny can park next to me ANYtime!
Yes we are planning to come as part of our vacation. We were planning to go to Montana, but couldn't get 3 weeks off as planned since I have a new job at work. We look forward to seeing you there!
We haven't settled on exact generator hours yet, but they will be published in the final schedule. Only quiet generators will be allowed, and they will be parked together.
Our goal is to allow generator use for re-charging batteries, and for brief use of AC-powered appliances during the day. While you shouldn't expect to fire up the generator to microwave your coffee at 7 a.m., or run your air conditioning all day, there will be reasonable hours to allow everyone to do what they need to do.
Mistral Blue nailed it:

Hey Rich,
Do you mind if we ask the mods to put the VTJ on the forums rally schedule? I know that the VTJ is not a forum rally or a WBCCI rally, but it would be nice to see just how many forum members will be attending!!
