Looking forward to the Eaton Rapids Urban Air in September but wondering if there are going to be other Urban Air's in different cities this year. Any scoop?

A rally in Carson City, NV is scheduled for Oct 9th. These events are a great way to enjoy morning coffee and secure a good parking spot for shopping and meeting people throughout the day and into the night. Hope more pop up. Really appreciate the folks who put forward the hard work necessary to make them successful. And thank you to the cities and towns that support the events. Hope to meet lots of folks in town some day. Pat

The City of Eaton Rapids posted on FB that more than 100 are coming. This will be our 5th.
Urban Air is our favorite event of the year. The people are amazing! I highly recommend attending.

Yes, it's good to see WBCCI is picking up on the idea of urban camping. One of the WBCCI units/regions is organizing the rally in Carson City.
I'm curious to see how the Carson City event is handled regarding parking of Airstream trailers and tow vehicles. The planners of Urban Air have made it a point to have the downtown street lined with only Airstreams. That creates a wonderful environment with wall to wall aluminum and lots of people to chat with for both attendees and citizens. I hope Carson City, Texas Country Air and others will follow suit. Breaking up the wall of aluminum with tow vehicles parked in between trailers is a definite turn off for me.
Here are two pictures to compare. Granted, one was taken at night and one was taken in daylight but you get the idea. People are coming from the local area to see Airstreams - not, Ford, GM and Ram trucks. Both events were lots of fun and we'd go back to both if they fit our schedule but there is a clear leader when it comes to showing off Airstreams. Urban Air has created something unique and I hope it continues.
