Anybody planning on attending the Tin Can Tourists 12TH Annual Gathering – May 14th – 17th 2009 in Milford, Michigan.

I asked similar question just yeaterday on the old thread HERE>>>> Tin Can Tourists 11th Annual Gathering In Michigan and got no replies.

On that thread there were
Lots of posts about previous TCT rallies but not a word about this years.

Why?

I notice it is not listed in the rally list on our portal page. Is that only for Wally and Forum rallies?

Obviously Airstreamers are (were) welcome and have enjoyed it in past.

Tin Can Tourists Events
12TH Annual Gathering – May 14th – 17th 2009 – Camp Dearborn, Milford, Michigan – Call Camp Dearborn after January 15th for site reservation at 248-684-0393 – There are 65 Electric Only Sites and approximately 90 Full Hook-up sites available. Camp is converting the water and electric sites into full hook-up sites. Yup, we're all booked and on our way, too. We are currently on a 4-month 'voygage' with our 59 Tradewind..... There is a blog here on airforums.com. We are in New Orleans now, and plan to leave here on Tues or Wed (weather permitting), and start making our way back to Michigan. The TinCan Tourists 12th Annual Gathering is our final stop of our trip, before returning home to Windsor Ontario, just across the border. Look forward to seeing lots of you there!!!

Anyone can add a rally to the rally calendar. We also have an option for rally "ads" that go on the left side of the portal page - and those are free as well.

The T.C.T. rally is sold out but there is a waiting list available in case there is cancellations - send an email to Forrest Bone for information on how to get added to the waiting list

Hey toastie hope yall have a big time.
How about a report and maybe some pics from the thing?
TCT might be an alternate direction for some of those who have not been interested in Wally club or rallies.
Let us know if any other forum members take part. And what is the other (sob) TCT members attitude toward you Airstreamers.

I made the mistake of waiting to register and am now #10 on the wait list.

I will definately register earlier for the fall gathering!!

TCT is an awesome group and everyone is welcome. I saw so many cool things there last year I considered(for a moment) branching out to different vintage trailers!!

I don't think anyone is denying them exposure here on Airforums. They do have their own website and forum and considering they are sold out this year says to me they don't need any help promoting the gathering.

I made the FL. gathering,wasn`t looked down on much because I was towing an Airstream,they are a great bunch of people,no matter what they tow,and some of those sobs are down right purdy. Mi. is just too long of a tow given that thing called a job. Dave
