Tin Can Tourists 11th Annual Gathering In Michigan

Below is a copy of an email from Forest Bone. We attened this rally last year in Milford Michigan and we will attend again this year. TCT put on a grand rally. The tour of the vintage trailers is the highlight of rally. If you are close by you should consider attending. There are lots of vintage Airtreams and I did notice some pretty cool other trailers there too.

From Forest:

May 15-18, 2008
If you have not registered as of yet, plan on registering early.

24 Electric Only Sites have already been reserved.

13 Water and Electric Sites have already been reserved

14 Full Hook-up Sites have already been reserved

There are still plenty of sites available, but we had 153 reservations in 2007. All the electric only and full hook-up sites were reserved by the first of May.

On line registration is available at www.tincantourists.com, click on the camp office logo and go to the rally registration section.

Camp Office

You can find the Camp Office icon on the far right side of the map, or select the top icon next to the words Camp Legend.

This link will take you there too:

Thanks for the help but now I have another stupid question. I guess I jumped the gun and paid the $20 dues. Is there a way to sign up for the Rally without having to pay the membership dues again?

Send a note to Forest

Last year I did the same thing. I sent a note to Forest Bone and he helped me out. f23bone@earthlink.net

A little more about what is included in the rally fee:

All registration fees include: Annual Membership for 2008, Window Sign, Rally Plaque, Battle of the Generations Dance on the tennis courts, Pizza Party, Fellowship Banquet, Morning Coffee & Continental Breakfast, a larger tent, and three nights camping with electric.

Thumbs up Can't wait to go

We went last year and signed up as soon as possible for this year. What a fun event; best of all I don't need a tuxedo to attend. No ceremonies, just great food, great people, and great trailers.

Rivet Goin' to the Rally, too!!

We were at last year's rally, too. We didn't have our vintage traveller yet, but we do now!!!
We were in the Keystone expandable and helped with the band, The Trailer Gypsies.
It was our first rally, and we had a BLAST!!! The rally is very well planned and the food and fun was great. EVERYBODY is soooo friendly and helpful.
We're getting our 59 Tradewind ready, so the rally will be our first trip with our 'new' baby
Can't wait to meet you in Milford...........

We have been attending the TCT events for the past three years- we ALWAYS have a fantastic time!!! We usually go up either late Wednesday or early Thursday- so if anyone want to caravan up -give us a shout. Also, if anyone need someplace to park on the way up or back we can help you out with that. Don't miss this one.

Gypsy, I think we met you last year- the band was great!

Question 2009 12th Annual [since Re-Fomation]

Lots of posts about previous TCT rallies but not a word about this years.

Why?

I notice it is not listed in the rally list on our portal page. Is that only for Wally and Forum rallies?

Obviously Airstreamers are (were) welcome and have enjoyed it in past.

BTW they (Tin Can Tourists) have an interesting Blog here >>>>> TCT Campfire
