My wife and I were going to attend this rally to get lots of pointers for our 67 Caravel restoration. We usually travel with our dog, Cassie. I see on the website for the Deming Grounds that dogs are not allowed. Is this the case for the Rally as well?
What a ton of fun this was. We met some incredible people, saw some awesome work done by people I'm humbled by, and the polishing seminar by Ron was very helpful. Mel, it was good to meet you and Lee finally.
We had to leave early Saturday evening due to me getting a round of the flu but glad we made the trip.
As for dogs there had to have been 20 or more thereabouts and no one seemed to mind - they are part of most people's family. The thing that surprised us was the number of travelling cats. On leashes, out for walks, it was great to see. We'll be there next year again for sure. Pat and Joanne sure put on a wonderful event once again.
We just got home....long drive back.
So fun talking with you, Brad and Kacey....hope you had a safe trip home.
I think it was funny, that almost everyone went antiquing and to garage sales, in their free time...........I guess if your into old trailers ...........your in to old junk!
We had a blast again this year. Barry, great to meet you and kitchenclose, thanks for stopping by! We're already making plans for next year (mark your calendars - August 16-19, 2007). Here are a few pics...

Done ! Sure wish I had the time to go this year. Looks like a great time was had by all ! Thanks for sharing the pictures. I did go fishing Sunday for fall Chinook, so I still had a good time this weekend .
The rally was great fun, even though we were in our "non-vintage" trailer. There were neat trailers, cool cars and fun people. If you like vintage, we highly recomend going.
Wow! Looks amazing. I love all of the old Shasta's all dolled up. We were just saying that the Region 1 Vintage Open House had no vintage cars. Glad to see the old cars with their trailers.
